Great Game, Bad Shirts: Worst Kit World Cup Kit Match-Up So Far?

Cameroon and Serbia played out a thrilling 3-3 draw this morning, but the kits were a lot less aesthetically pleasing than the football.

Worst Kit Match-Up So Far?

Cameroon vs Serbia was one of the best games of the World Cup so far. The six goal thriller saw Cameroon take the lead, then go 3-1 behind before bringing on Vincent Aboubakar in the second half. The Al-Nassr forward quickly turned the game around, scoring one then assisting Choupo-Moting's goal to get them level. There was even a pre-match scandal as first choice keeper Andre Onana left the squad to return home after a disagreement with coach Rigobert Song.

Plenty to talk about after the game, which also saw two of the least popular shirts at this World Cup face off against each other. Cameroon wore their green home shirt by One All sports, complete with "stolen" typefaces, while Serbia played in their white away kit with its gold, bottlecap-like box on the front.

Serbia's jersey is arguably the worst of Puma's streamlined away kit style for their 2022 international shirts, and One All sports first Cameroon shirt seems to be somewhat lacking in the production quality department. Both designs are quite forgettable, but their appearances in this fantastic match may go some way to redeeming their reputation in the future.
