Mainz 05 22-23 Home Kit Released - New 'Friendly' Sponsor Logo
Update - 25 June 2022: The new Mainz 05 22-23 home kit is available to buy from today. The launch comes with a surprise as the logo of main sponsor Kömmerling has undergone a big update and is now applied in a monochrome version.
Original article - 9 May 2022: The new Mainz 05 home shirt was unveiled today. It is made by Kappa and will be worn in the 2022-2023 Bundesliga season. It is set to be debuted this weekend against Frankfurt.

Mainz 05 22-23 Home Kit
This is the Mainz 05 2022-23 home shirt, made by Kappa.
The Kappa Mainz 05 22-23 home shirt has a much simpler design than the previous two home jerseys by Kappa.
However, it still features the club's recent signature pattern in two different shades of red. Mainz's new 22-23 away kit, which was voted on a few months ago, has a similar look in white.
The entire shirt is red apart from gold on the sleeve cuffs and on the back of the collar. Kappa's logo appears in white, with main sponsor Kömmerling using their foundation logo.
Template-wise, the new Mainz home kit seems to be similar to last season's third shirt, which also applied the club's pattern on the front in the same size.
White shorts and red socks complete the new Kappa Mainz 2022-23 home outfit.
Following the initial unveiling, the club sold a special edition of the new home shirt for €79.95, with €10 from each sale going directly to charity to help Ukraine.
The regular 22-23 home shirt, with a normal sponsor logo, was made available to buy on 25 June 2022.
