It Won't Happen: How Italy's Kits Would Look Like With New Italy FA Logo

The Italian Football Federation (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, FIGC) this week launched a new logo. With the launch, it was announced that the logo will be solely used for the federation and not for the national team - we have nevertheless imagined how it would look on Italy's Euro 2020 kits.

The logo represents the Federation's activity in everything apart the football field

The new Italy FA logo is "inspired by some iconic elements to best represent the Federation's activity in everything it is not played football".

Italy Euro 2020 Kits With New Italy FA Logo

For our concept, we have taken the new Italy FA logo and placed it on the current Italy home kit by Puma. We just recolored some of the elements to fit the jersey.

We have also done a mock-up of the innovative Italy 2021 away kit with the new logo.

Our two mock-ups reveal that the new Italy FA logo does not look bad for kits, in contrast to the logo of the RFEF (Spanish Football Federation).

With the choice of having a logo solely for the "institution", "the FIGC align itself with other European Federations (for example Belgium, Germany and Spain) that have made the same choice, distinguishing the game jersey symbol from the 'corporate-institutional' one."
