Real Madrid Wear Black Socks vs Chelsea - First Home Kit Mashup Since 2007

Update: Here's our first look at the white-white-black Real Madrid kit from the match vs Chelsea. How do you like it?

Real Madrid's kit in tonight's Champions League semi-final at Chelsea will be extremely unusual for the club, swapping the classic all white for white-white-black. This news was advanced by COPE's Miguel Ángel Díaz, who also reported that the grass would not be watered before the match or during half-time.

It will be the first time in ages for Madrid to not wear their home shirts with matching shorts and socks. In fact, the last time that the first team did so was in 2007-08 when they played Alicante in the cup (via @rmadyan1).

Today's switch is being done due to Chelsea's standard home kit having blue shorts and white socks, while it can also be suspected that Real Madrid did not want to switch to the unpopular pink away kits for this one.

To recount, the first leg saw Chelsea in all-blue to avoid a clash with all-white Madrid.
