Sandhausen Sign Macron Kit Deal - No More Puma After 21 Years

Sandhausen of Bundesliga 2 have announced a kit deal with Italian brand Macron.

Macron will replace Puma as the club's official sponsor from next season, supplying official kits for the club's first team as well as all teams from the youth development program.

Jürgen Machmeier, President of SV Sandhausen, is delighted with the future cooperation: “With Macron we are gaining a renowned partner who is well connected in international football. The overall concept of our future outfitter convinced us, the discussions were characterized by mutual trust from the start. The brand message of our future supplier "work hard - play harder" also fits perfectly with the club philosophy of SV Sandhausen."

"We are very proud and happy to support SV Sandhausen as a supplier in the future," emphasizes Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “The SVS has established itself in German professional football with a unique development and made a name for itself. The cooperation with SV Sandhausen expands our access to the German market with an important platform in the Rhine-Neckar region. This will further expand our presence in German professional football."

During the Puma years - the brand has supplied the club for a massive 21 years - Sandhausen used teamwear kits with minimal edits at most. It remains to be seen whether Macron will come up with bespoke designs.

And while a virtual jersey handover took place to celebrate the announcement, the shirt used for this is from Macron's very own teamwear offering, used for the Hapoel Tel-Aviv 20-21 third, for example.

Sandhausen, who could get relegated to the third tier this season, become the fourth team in the top two tiers of German football to be supplied by Macron, next to Bielefeld, Hannover and Karlsruhe.
