Kappa Napoli Kit Deal Is "No Longer Granted" - Napoli To Sign Castore Kit Deal?

Update: After doubting a potential kit deal with Castore yesterday, @TutelaMagliaNA made a U-turn today saying that the partnership with Kappa "is no longer granted". It could already be history after this season.

Update: Well-informed Napoli kit experts @TutelaMagliaNA highly doubt that UK-based brand Castore will indeed become the club's new kit supplier from the 2021-22 campaign.

They claim that Napoli receives more than twice as much from Italian sportswear brand Kappa at the moment making a kit deal with "these figures impossible". However, the biggest advantage of Castore is supposed to be their revolutionary "digital-focused approach" which enables clubs to sell more merchandise on a global scale.

After we reported about a potential deal with capital city club Lazio yesterday, SportsPro now suggests that Napoli could also end up wearing Castore football kits in the near future.

Castore is a UK-based brand founded in 2016 that signed its first professional contract with Glasgow Rangers before the start of this season. Additionally, they were linked with Premier League teams Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers since then.

Castore Wants To Sign Italian Team: Napoli Is An Option

After losing out on AS Roma, Castore was just linked with Lazio. However, the UK-based brand founded in 2016 is committed to become the kit supplier of one major Italian club, and another option would be SSC Napoli. Castore is offering €4 million, an offer in the same region as the one for Lazio.

Currently, Napoli is under contract with Italian sportswear brand Kappa. Nonetheless, the agreement will expire after this season, which makes contract negotiations logical.
