Joma Takes Advantage Of Ripping Nike FC Barcelona Basketball Jersey

FC Barcelona's basketball team lost their EuroLeague match against French side ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne yesterday night. We would usually not have taken notice of the match, but Spanish brand Joma made us aware not only of the triumph of Lyon-Villeurbanne.

Nike FC Barcelona Basketball Jersey Rips In Match

During the match, the shirt of FC Barcelona player Nikola Mirotić ripped in a duel in the 2nd quarter. This was shared by Joma, who accompanied the video with an amusing caption.

Hinting at FC Barcelona's league rivals Unicaja Baloncesto Malaga, who are sponsored by Joma, the Spanish brand commented.

With good reason Barça wanted the shirt of @unicajaCB (Unicaja Baloncesto Malaga). Ours does not break.

Joma also replied with an image "confirming" that their shirts do not rip, accompanied with the following caption.

The jersey of Unicaja Baloncesto Malaga overcome rival internal controls and grabs.

The Nike FC Barcelona Basketball Shirt 20/21 is made of Nike's Dri-Fit fabric and not from Vaporknit, in contrast to Barcelona's authentic football player issue kits. Dri-Fit is the same technology used for Nike's replica football kits.
