Update: Puma this morning officially announced that they signed France and Bayern winger Kingsley Coman. He will lace up in the Puma Ultra 1.2 football boots insetad of his previous Mercurials.

Early March 2020 - Kingsley Coman Wears 'Masked' Nike Mercurial Boots, Set to Join Puma

Update: Playing against Dortmund in the Klassiker, Kinsley Coman was spotted wearing a pair of 'masked' Nike Mercurial boots very similar to those worn by his team-mate Leon Goretzka. Coman is set to sign for Puma shortly while Goretzka will join Adidas.

Update: Kingsley Coman is set to join his Bayern team mate Robert Lewandowski in leaving Nike for Puma. He already wore blackout Puma boots in training earlier this year, but now he was first spotted wearing a pair of 'unmasked' Puma Ultra cleats (via Footpack).

Kingsley Coman is set to become the next player to leave Nike, images from Bayern's recent training sessions suggest.

Coman has been wearing Nike Mercurial Vapor boots since several years. He laced up in the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 boots in his last match before he got injured.

Kingsley Coman Trains in Puma Ultra Blackout Prototype Soccer Cleats

In the first training sessions after injury, Kingsley Coman was spotted wearing a blackout version of the Puma Ultra 1.1 boots in training.

Coman would be not the only Nike athlete to leave the Swoosh. Other Nike players who were spotted with other brand's cleats are Thiago, Ibrahimovic, Alex Telles, Marco Asensio and Sergio Ramos.
