NFL Logos Reimagined Along The Lines Of European Football Logos

It is that time of the year again. As the NFL enters its crucial stage of playoffs that culminate in a Super Bowl we stumbled across this amazing project of design & technology studio @object_design that merges NFL logos with football / soccer crests. The result is amazing and gives the cartoonish NFL identities an interesting makeover.

NFL Logos as Football / Soccer Crests

The NFC and AFC South Teams are redone in English Premier League style, the East teams as German club crests, the North Divisions get Italian league style and the West teams done as Spanish clubs.

The results are simply awesome. While some like the Texans and Cowboys are fairly reminiscent of the original, other animal main teams like the Lions, Bears and Rams get the royal crest treatment. Shields done in the German league style for the East teams look slick and streamlined and some of the Spanish style logos are among the most creative. A very good example for this is the reimagined Arizona Cardinals badge.
