Every year, thousands of football shirts for clubs and federations get released. Amidst this plethora of football kits there are always those shirts that neither convince nor completely fail - they simply coexist without getting too much attention.
However, there are few arguments to justify buying one of these shirts since they do not feature any unique characteristics. The only reason we can imagine to possess such a football shirt is an emotional attachment to the specific club or federation, astonishing accomplishments that were achieved in the specific football shirt or a tasty discount.
Concerning the categorization process, we decided to go for a simple approach: if a shirt neither convinces with its simple elegance through smart touches, nor does it catch the eye because of striking elements that are unique to the respective shirt, then the likelihood that it pops up within this article skyrockets.
