The Brasil national team home jersey wasn’t always yellow. The team ended its half-century run in white and blue after an assumed tournament victory was snatched by a devastating defeat at the Maracanã Stadium in 1950. Four years later, the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) debuted a new kit in yellow, green and blue — the colors of Brasil’s flag. The design was the result of a national competition and the new colors stuck.

All of the Nike Brazil home kits since 1998 have a streamlined look - they come with the classic Brazil colors and without any graphic patterns. The variation of the different yellows and greens is quite low, keeping the shirts fitting for The Canaries.

Our favorites are the 2013, 2002 and 2014 kits

Our favorite Nike Brazil home jerseys are the 2013 Confed Cup kit, the World Cup-winning 2002 home shirt (great memories for Brazilians) and the 2014 World Cup kit (not-so-great memories for Brazilians).
