When leaving the team bus ahead of the match, Trent was wearing the famous rainbow jersey of the Bochum team from the 1997-98 season, which was worn by goalkeeper Uwe Gospodarek at that time.

The now iconic Bochum late 1990s Bochum kits would not be allowed in football nowadays. They were not produced by a kit maker but by sponsor FABER Lotto, whose colors and logos plaster the shirt.

In fact, Trent already wore the long-sleeved shirt at the 30th birthday of teammate Damian Lillard on July 15 in the NBA Bubble at Disney World.

Bochum was happy to see him wearing their classic kit and replied the NBA team on Twitter with just two words: "Looks great."
