Nike Now Only Sponsors 5 South American First Division Teams
In early February 2020, Nike announced that it's operations in several South American countries would be managed by sub-licensees. Now a graphic by planebafobal reveals that Nike is almost not anymore present in the South American club kit market.

In 2020, Nike does only sponsor five teams from CONMEBOL, the South American football body. #Corinthians ??, Alianza Lima ??, Atlético Nacional, #SanLorenzo ?? and Red Bull Bragantino ??. The brand lost four important teams in 2019 - Boca Juniors, Club Libertad, SC Internacional and Cerro Porteno.
Nike previously had much more teams in South America, including clubs like Santos.
