FC Barcelona 19-20 Senyera Fourth Kit Released + Full Collection

Update: The Barcelona fourth kit and the accompanying collection are now available to buy everywhere.

FC Barcelona just unveiled their brand-new fourth kit, which draws inspiration from the Catalan flag to celebrate the club's 120th anniversary.

Released under the motto Ho portem dins (We carry it inside), the Nike FC Barcelona 2019-2020 fourth jersey will be available to buy from tomorrow, 13 November 2019.

Barça will wear the new Senyera fourth kit exclusively on big occasions, including the away matches against Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabéu. The decision of the board of Barça was taken long before the two consecutive victories that Valverde's team achieved two weeks ago in the Bernabéu.

Inspired by the Catalan flag, the 'Senyera', the new Nike FC Barcelona 2019-20 fourth kit boasts a unique design in yellow, red and navy. Unlike traditional Senyera kits of the past, it does not feature the classic vertical stripes but comes with four extraordinary brushstroke red stripes across the front.

Template-wise, the Barcelona 2019-2020 fourth shirt is based on Nike's template for this season. All logos on the jersey appear in a saturated royal blue, which creates a rather garish look together with the yellow-red base.

In fact, the four red stripes represent a legendary image of Catalonia: that of Guifré el Pilós, considered the founder of Catalonia, passing over a golden shield his four fingers bloody after a battle, this being the inspiration for the Catalan flag.

Barcelona last had a Senyera kit in 2014 - back then it featured a more traditional stripe design.

The Nike FC Barcelona 2019-2020 Senyera 4th kit will be available to buy from 13 November 2019. It will be worn in a number of key games this season. According to reports in the Spanish press a while back, this includes the Clásico - likely the one to be played in Madrid in the second half of the season.
