UEFA Bans Fluorescent Training Bibs

UEFA updated its kit regulations for the first time since 2012 this year. The new UEFA Equipment rules bring a lot changes, including the ban of striped shirts of solid backs. Now kit freak @hendocfc has revealed another interesting new UEFA Equipment Regulations.

UEFA 2018 Kit Regulations Forbid Fluorescent Yellow and Orange Training Bibs

The UEFA 2018 Equipment Regulations forbid teams to have fluorescent yellow and orange colors for training warm-up bibs. Fluorescent player jerseys are still allowed, however, so Barcelona are able to wear their fluo-yellow away jersey in the Champions League.

The change in regulation likely comes after a video of a player passes the ball to a steward he wrongly recognized as teammate. The problem is not solved, however - players are still allowed to wear fluorescent kits.

In other UEFA Kit Regulations news, it is also forbidden for teams to wear their winners shirt before all official activities have been completed. The UEFA 2018 Kit Regulations also state that a team has to submit their official Winners shirt 48 hours ahead of a final.
