Axel Witsel Has Apparently Left Adidas for Puma

Belgium international Axel Witsel joined Borussia Dortmund just six weeks ago. Now it seems like that the Borussia Dortmund midfielder has left Adidas to join Puma, the kit supplier and part-owner of Borussia Dortmund.

Axel Witsel Debuts Low-Cut Puma One CC Football Boots

Axel Witsel entered the pitch in yesterday's UEFA Champions League match against Brugge wearing the striking silver and orange Puma One boots instead of his usual choice, the Adidas X 18.1 This is a clear hint that he has signed a deal with Puma.

Axel Witsel wore the low-cut version of the Puma One football boots, called the Puma One 1 CC Leather. The cleats are the same as the usual Puma One football boots just with a traditional non-collar low-cut design.

It is by far not the first time that Puma signed a player Dortmund just signed. The German brand and Adidas' arch rivals also gave former Barca defender Batra (previously Nike - now plays for Betis) and various other players a boot contract.
