REPORTS: Manchester City Agree £50m-A-Season Puma Kit Deal

According to the latest reports, Manchester City and its affiliate clubs will switch to Puma from the start of the 2019-20 season in a deal that's worth an estimated £50m per season.

This marks a stark increase on the club's current deal with Nike, which is valued at just £20m per season and puts Manchester City up with Chelsea and Manchester United as the teams with the biggest shirt supplier deals in English football. For comparison, Arsenal's Puma deal is worth an estimated £30m per season.

Unlike the previous deal, the new Puma Manchester City deal will cover not just the English mother club but also its affiliates from around the world, i.e. Girona in Spain and Australia's Melbourne City. Only New York City FC won't be able to join them due to the MLS's exclusive deal with Adidas.

All of this means that this season's Manchester City kits will be the last-ever to be made by Nike. Home and away were already launched, whilst the third is expected to follow later this month.
