Limited-Edition Adidas Ace 17 ANJA Women's Boots Released

The new Adidas Ace 17.1 ANJA women's soccer boots are Adidas' first-ever limited-edition women's cleats. Inspired by 1975 original, the Adidas Ace 17 ANJA boots are already available to buy.

Released in 1975, the Adidas ANJA was the three-stripe brand's first-ever football boot made exclusively for women. Named after the daughter of one of the designers, the Adidas ANJA also stood out with its white color, which quite unusual at the time, and the way its studs where directly connected to the sole plate.

Closely inspired by the 1970s original and based on the women's-exclusive Adidas Ace 17.1, the new ANJA Adidas Ace 17 cleats are cream-colored with black Adidas stripes, a black pull tab in the rear and a red collar and inner lining. "ANJA" is written on the outstep in gold letters, while the inside shows a black Ace logo. Last but not least, a blue detail on the tongue, including the Adidas and ANJA logos, completes the design of the Adidas Ace 17.1 ANJA women's football boots.

Tech-wise, although based on the regular women's Ace 17.1, the Adidas Ace 17.1 ANJA boots have a full leather upper with a strategic seams in the forefoot. A Sprintframe outsole with a straightforward FG (firm ground) configuration finishes off the construction.

Part of the ongoing Limited Collection, the off-white Adidas Ace 17.1 ANJA women's boots will go on sale on March 1. They retail at $220 (€220), a slight increase compared to regular editions. They will be available in women's sizes up to a UK 10 (men's 9).
