2016-17 Serie A Kits Overview - All 16-17 Shirts

Serie A starts this weekend. And just like we've done with the Premier League, Ligue 1 and, most recently, La Liga, we use this moment for a detailed look at all teams' new kits for the upcoming season.

All of Joma, Kappa, Macron and Nike supply three Serie A teams each, while Adidas follows with two, Milan and Juventus. Erreà, Givova, HS, Le Coq Sportif, Lotto and Zeus sponsor one team each.

Atalanta

Atalanta's new kits are once again made by Nike and are based on two of the brand's teamwear templates.

Bologna

Produced by Italian brand Macron, the new Bologna kits are quite different: where the Bologna 2016-17 home kit is kept very understated and clean, the away shirt introduces a neon green color.

Cagliari

Something similar can be observed with Cagliari's new kits, although it's the third kit that breaks ranks this time, being green and featuring the club's primary colors on the nack and sleeve cuffs.

Chievo Verona

Also made by a smaller Italian brand, Givova, the new Chievo Verona 16-17 home, away and third kits boast smart looks that incorporate the past of the club.

Crotone

Although they are made by Zeus, yet another smaller Italian brand, the new Crotone 16-17 kits show a similar theme to that of the Macron jerseys above.

Empoli

Made by Joma, who supply three teams in the league, the Empoli 16-17 home, away and third shirts are all based on the same template and feature clean looks in blue, white and orange, respectively.

Fiorentina

Again produced by Le Coq Sportif, the new Fiorentina kits are very clean and simple. Both feature a traditional collar and understated designs.

Genoa

The new Genoa CFC 2016-17 kits, produced by Lotto, add more clean designs to the league collection, utilizing the club's traditional blue and red prominently.

Inter

One of just two Nike teams in the league, the Inter 16-17 kits feature designs that range from the rather traditional home and away shirts to the quite eye-catching third kit.

Juventus

Going into its second year at the club, Adidas was inspired by Juve's nickname Zebre (The Zebras) to include an actual zebra print on the sleeves of the Juventus 16-17 third kit.

Lazio

Made by Macron, the Lazio 16-17 home and away kits introduce classic looks, while the Lazio 2016-17 third jersey boasts an interesting gradient hoops design.

Milan

In similar fashion to Juventus, the AC Milan 16-17 third kit features a striking and outlandish design, whereas the Milan 16-17 home and away kits are very clean.

Napoli

All three of the new Napoli kits are based on the same template. The home is traditionally blue, while the third kit is black-and-gold. The new Napoli 16-17 away kit is white with a broad sash, sky blue, from the top left to bottom right.

Palermo

Made by Joma, the new Palermo 16-17 home, away and third kits are also very clean and interesting, with the third kit featuring a traditional crest just like last season.

Pescara

Newly promoted this season, the new kits of Pescara Calcio are made by Erreà.

Roma

Made by Nike, the AS Roma 16-17 away kit returns to the traditional Lupetto crest, while the new Roma third kit introduces a striking, eye-catching look in bright red and citrus.

Sampdoria

Supplied by Joma, UC Sampdoria unveiled three new kits for the 2016-2017 season.

Sassuolo

Made by Kappa, the new Sassuolo 16-17 home, away and third kits feature smart designs and templates that are typical of the brand.

Torino

Similar things can be said about the new Torino kits. Interestingly, the Torino 2016-17 away kit is inspired by River Plate's as an homage to the Argentinian club's support after the Superga tragedy in 1953.

Udinese

Rounding off the league is Udinese, whose kits are once again made by HS Sport, a small Italian brand.
