VfB Stuttgart 16-17 Away and Third Kits Released

Update: Puma and Stuttgart have unveiled a new third kit, after the brand encountered issues producing the shimmery silver jersey that was initially released.

Following the launch of the new home kit in May, 2. Bundesliga team VfB Stuttgart and its jersey supplier Puma yesterday released the new VfB Stuttgart 2016-17 away and third shirts.

Stuttgart 16-17 Away Kit

This is the new Puma Stuttgart away shirt.

Like last season, the Stuttgart 2016-17 away jersey combines two shades of red and features a subtle horizontal stripe on the front.

While the club and Puma initially unveiled a silver-and-black third kit, inspired by the Formula 1 cars of the club's main sponsor Mercedes, the two parties have since announced a new, updated Stuttgart third kit, with the German sportswear company citing production issues.

The new Stuttgart 2016-17 third kit is simply light grey, after Puma had issues producing the earlier, shimmery silver edition. The new jersey will be available from October 1, 2016.
