Boot Watch #010 | Camouflaged, Iconic and Unique Boots

We are back with the last January edition of our Boot Watch. And while there already have been various unique boot spottings in the past week, we managed to gather at least some new boots that are even more outstanding than those we've already covered on our website in the past seven days (See them all here).

Jesé Rodríguez | Blackout Next-Gen Nike Mercurial Superfly

Real Madrid's Jesé Rodríguez again laced up in a blackout version of the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016-2017 Boots this week. However, as we already revealed the launch colorway of next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots 10 days ago, that's nothing very interesting anymore.

Neymar | Camouflaged Nike Hypervenom 'Ousadia Alegria'

Neymar not only received his first signature boots for 2016, the Brazilian superstar even managed to get two 'very different' modified editions of the boots from the Swoosh. And while he both laced up in camouflaged boots with and without the collar on Friday, he - not surprisingly - wore his beloved low-cut camouflaged Nike Hypervenom Boot that is in fact just a Nike Mercurial Vapor X against Atlético.

Walcott | Modified Adidas X Primeknit

Theo Walcott, who previously laced up in camouflaged Adidas X boots that were in fact just Adidas F50 Adizero 2014 Boots, debuted his custom version of the Solar Yellow Adidas X Primeknit Boot that features a Sprintframe sole plate (He even showed off his camouflaged boots on Twitter).

Juan Mata | Black Adidas Ace PureControl

Juan Mata became the first player to debut the black version of the laceless Adidas Ace PureControl Cleats after Yanga-Mbiwa from Olympique Lyonnais already showed off the boots six days ago.

Mats Hummels | Black Adidas Ace 16 Primeknit

Whereas Juan Mata laced up in the laceless edition of the knitted Adidas Ace Boots (PureControl), Mats Hummels opted for the knitted version with the laces that looks not roughly as classy.

Tiago Mota | Nike Mercurial Vapor VI

Tiago Mota laced up in the bold 'Voltage Cherry' Edition of the Nike Mercurial Vapor VI Boots that was released in 2010.

Giuseppe Bellusci - Completely Custom Nike Magista Obra

Giuseppe Bellusci from Leeds United was spotted wearing a completely custom version of the Nike Magista Obra Boot that he created using Nike's customization service NikeID. Why are they completely custom? Because he cut off parts of the Dynamic Fit collar.

Tom Huddlestone - Cut-Off Nike Magista

Whereas Bellusci just cut off some parts of his collar, Thom Huddlestone from Hull City got completely rid off the 'Dynamic Fit collar'.

Paul Caddis | Adidas Copa Mundial

Whereas Huddlestone had to remove the collar of his boots to create a traditional low-cut version, Paul Caddis just chose to wear the Adidas Copa Mundial. Quite clever.

Dylan Fox & Andrew Durante | Blackout Puma King & Nike CTR Maestri IV

This is our favorite spot of the week. Wellington Phoenix's Dylan Fox laced up in the last regular colorway of the Nike CTR Cleats, whereas his teammate Andrew Durante opted for much less striking boots - Blackout Puma King's.

Anthony Gerrard | Adidas Predator LZ II

Oldham Athletic's Anthony Gerrard opted for the blue, white and orange colorway of the Adidas Predator LZ II Boots. Not a bad choice to be honest.

We hope you enjoyed reading through this week's Boot Watch as much as last week. And, as always, please let us know if you have another spot or found an error in our work.
