Neymar Trains in Camouflaged Bronze Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boots

Neymar's custom Nike Hypervenom Phinish / Mercurial hybrid boots dominated football boot spottings for weeks, and it doesn't look like the FC Barcelona forward will stop wearing the very special Nike soccer cleats anytime soon. In today's training, he was seen wearing an updated version, resembling the new bronze Nike Hypervenom boots unveiled this week.

Neymar will wear the new Metallic Red Bronze Nike Hypervenom II Phinish football boots until late January 2016, when he will start sporting his latest signature cleats, the Nike Hypervenom II 'Ousadia e Alegria'.

Neymar's Nike Hypervenom Phinish / Mercurial Vapor X Hybrid Boots

Close-up of Neymar's new Nike football boots, set to be debuted this weekend against Real Sociedad.

Based on the silhouette of the Nike Mercurial Vapor X, Neymar's custom Nike Hypervenom look-alike soccer boots come with the visual aspects of the silo Neymar has been headlining since its start in 2013. For this update, Nike has added the trademark 'Liquid Chrome' upper, while the tongue is now of the same color as the rest of the cleats, making them harder to distinguish from the original.

Tech-wise, Neymar's new bronze Nike Hypervenom Phinish / Mercurial hybrid boots appear to be almost identical to the stock Nike Mercurial Vapor X, especially evident in the sole plate and the tongue. If anything, the laces and tongue part are slightly offset to the outside, a design tweak of the Nike Hypervenom to offer an enlarged striking surfaces on the medial side.
