Barcelona 16-17 Away Kit Released
The Barcelona 16-17 away kit was released this morning. It will be available from July 14.
Team captain Andrés Iniesta declares, "The fusion of the traditional red and blue makes this shirt fresh and striking, but at the same time connected with our history. In addition, thanks to the new technology we feel much more agile and fast."
The new Barcelona 16-17 away kit introduces a striking and never-seen-before look for the La Liga champions, combining purple with black and pink. Made by Nike, the Barcelona 2016-17 away jersey features a sponsor-less look just like the already released home kit and is set for a launch later in early July.

This is the new Barça away kit.
Based on Nike's Vapor kit template, already used for the Barcelona 16-17 home kit as well as the brand's Copa America and Euro offering, the Barcelona 2016-17 away kit is predominantly purple with dark navy sleeves and pink brandings.
Whereas purple has so far not been used for a Barcelona match jersey, an almost identical combination as the 'Purple Dynasty / Hyper Pink' of the Barcelona 16-17 away kit was used for the Barcelona training jersey in the second half of the 2014-15 season.
Continuing the design of the shirt, the shorts of the new Barcelona 16-17 away kit are also purple and pink. Following another scheme introduced by Nike lately, the striking appearance of the new Barcelona away kit is completed with pink socks.
